Kindermusik is a worldwide licensed business and not a
franchise. There are many advantages connected to a license
package. You do not "buy" your area which has very high
financial implications. You license the right to use the Kindermusik name and programs. Therefore there is
non-exclusive rights in any area. As a result you can
present classes anywhere in the country or overseas -- you
take your business with you wherever you go! With a
franchise, a certain percentage from your income must be
paid over monthly to the Head Office. With the licensed
business, there is an annual renewal of the license fee
(payable to Kindermusik International), and a monthly
administration fee (payable to Kindermusik South Africa).
